All children learn in different ways. Different learning environments suit some children more than others. We embraced this idea and considered how we could offer a camp where children learn in a fun and practical way, which has team work and communication at its heart. Having both worked in the sports and coaching industry, we see how beneficial sports and games are in children’s physical health and mental wellbeing. We know how important it is to lay the foundations for children to lead healthy, active lifestyles. This inspired us to provide children with an experience which combines the two ideas; creative, project-based learning (MiNDS) and multi sports and games (MOTiON).
Most importantly, we wanted to create a holiday camp that offers a unforgettable experience where children’s wellbeing and happiness underpins everything we do. We want to provide children with a safe space to make great memories with their peers, build resilience, improve their self-confidence and develop their talents and interests.
Why we started the camp
Meet the Team
-
Co-FounderI have always had a passion for teaching and thoroughly enjoyed working with children. I have worked as a tennis coach for over 8 years, before and alongside completing my degree in psychology. Coaching and my interest in psychology ultimately inspired me to pursue a career in teaching and achieve my Qualified Teacher Status. I have had amazing experiences working at summer camps, having spent two summers at a camp in America as well as countless multi sport and tennis camps across Surrey. I have experience teaching the Primary National Curriculum and love bringing learning inside and outside the classroom to life in an exciting and engaging way.

Co-FounderSports and physical activity has played a huge role throughout my life. As a result, I wholeheartedly appreciate the positive impact being physically active and experiencing being part of a team can have on a child’s self-confidence and mental wellbeing.
As a full-time tennis coach myself, I have ample experience fostering the development of juniors picking up a racket for the first time as well as nurturing experienced players who are playing at a competitive level.
I have a real enthusiasm for a variety of sports and have played football at a County and Semi-Professional level as well as Tennis and Cricket to a high level.
My goal is to ensure that every child leaves our camp feeling happy, empowered, confident and inspired to pursue sports and physical activity further!
